Hello Parents
Early skate schedules are posted, main screen under evaluation information.
They are posted in categories with letters.
Don't panick we will receive what last names fall into what letter categories soon.
But at least you have an idea of when this will begin.
Conditioning is a great way to have your child meet new kids and warm up.
At Novice level & throughout Calgary we are governed by a league called NDL.(Novice Development league)
Our mission: To provide safe, fun, fair environment for all by building strong partnerships though shared leader-ship and support with our members.
3 Goals: To provide a positive Environment for learning the fundamentals of hockey. Stimulate interest and desire to continue playing the game of hockey and develop coaches skills and abilities through mentor ship and speciality clinincs.
With this in mind we ask parents to encourage their children to have fun and not stress about evaluatins. At this level it is about having children on a team where they will have fun, learn and want to come back.
I have had an out pore of questions. Here are a few answers:
1-2 girls per team in the past few years.
Children play in age categories by ability as this is more fun for players will not be put with family members by request.
Never heard of Novice level starting in August as there are NDL rules.
Keep checking website and on left hand site the Novice microsite for updates.
